Off to a great start, thanks for taking the time to report. Looking forward to much more. And of course don't worry about repetitiveness, just like any trip everyone's perspective is always at least a bit different, especially when pictures are included as well...

Sorry to read you had pain while cruising. As a frequent Prednisone user, that drug is not fun. I hope you had a good trip overall.

Thank you all joining in. I find I am getting a little more wordy than I had intended, but I promise to throw in lots of pictures. Some may be my DH's, but most will be mine, untouched, just as taken, not looking to win a prize but to retain memories. Take that to read, while DH is the far better photographer, I am an amateur that recently got a Nikon for dummies and shot a picture of everything in sight.

I will get another installment up tonight. It sure helps me relive the trip and remember what a grand time we had.

Your photos of the animals make me homesick already! I love AKL/Kidani.

Not to side track the TR but this is for Princesscinderella and RweTHEREyet . I too have suffered with a herniated disc for years. I have learned to avoid things that will set it off. However, I remember the days of excruiating pain. I was given all types of meds/treatments. What was a miracle cure for me was prescription strength Anaprox (same as alleve only stronger). You can also take OTC naprosyn/alleve 3 pills - twice a day. Ask your doctors first, but I couldn't stand, sit, walk etc without shooting knife like pains and it took away my pain. It takes about 3 days to get the maximum effect. I hope you both find relief. I know the feeling.
