haha....I don't think I would be the lead article anywhere. Half the Polynesian would rather my site does not exist because it tells all the secrets and I am not afraid to say when things are not good there but at least I know the other half likes the work I do and uses my site as a reference for information. I have actually walked up to the front desk and seen them on my site.

The funny part is that there are so many Polynesian fans out there that could have made a site like mine....maybe they are just smart enough to spend their time doing other things.
But you did it. Good ideas are easy to come by. People who stick with a dream and continue to work on it year after year are rare.

A few more early adopters like you will mean discounts for the rest. I would love to see a Poly DVC!

Yes, but only a few. Otherwise they'll think sales are going great and won't offer nicer incentives.

What will/should GFV and PV have for the founders? (hmmm....Me thinks that should be a thread)
We bought at BLT as a founder, got the founding fountain tile, the artwork for our home and I made out wayyyyyy better than some resales did. Let me break it down for you:

$112PP (I checked online)

Minus some Disney gift card incentives we got taken off the purchase price which brought it down to $107PP

Then we got FREE 160 developer points that we rented out at $10PP which took us down to $97PP

I also believe that when we purchased our BLT it came with 160 points on it and I don't believe they charge maintenance fees on the first yr. (Might be wrong)

so that's another $6-10 saving depending on if there was MF. After we rented out those points making us only pay $87 OR $91 PP.

So one year later when we actually went on holidays again we had the points to use and the price couldn't be matched anywhere.

I also am sure we didn't pay closing costs on a purchase from DVC either.

I think we made out pretty good as a founder at BLT, not to mention I got to match my use year from our AKV resort we already owned.

We don't own DVC waterfront property....well unless you count SSR or Aulani as waterfront. Uuuh ok I guess we do own waterfront, but not on the 7Cs. I think I'd rather buy into Poly then VGF. We've never stayed at the resort, but it love the grounds.

I think you should get the first points just bc you're Steve, the Tikiman!

Happy trails,
Jennie

I hadn't thought of this before for post, but AKV and VGC are the only DVCs not on water features. While OKW only has a canal/river, it's still a water feature. Hmmm.

I think the OKW villas that are between the road and the canal, and face the canal and the wilderness on the other side, have some of the nicest views in all of DVCland.

Here's our own map from our resource area:

I'm talking about buildings 45 and 46. I would love a GV here some day.

Holy size batman! Dirk, can you edit my post and resize that somehow?! The image was smaller than that when I lifted it.

Since we don't even know how much the VGF will go for, I would say that is a believable number.
