I'm back...

I am starting this report on the plane ride down. I could not sleep the night before until an hour before I had to wake up. I showered and called a car and then said goodbye to Vinny.
Got downstairs and realized I put my shirt on inside out. lol. I go into bathroom in lobby (cameras everywhere) and fixed it. I walk outside and the car pulled up. I was nervous to stand outside as there was a murder the night before about 3 blocks away which the mugger took an IPhone and killed someone for it. Disgusting.

The trip to the airport was quick. he drove like a maniac. Got to airport and checked the bag curbside. I went inside and gave the lady my receipt for check in instead of my boarding pass. lol. I showed her the correct paper and she told me I had quick entry or something. She told me to see the guy to our left; I did and walked a line with no one in it. I almost get to the front when some guy in the long line asked why I was in the line with no line. Only thing I can think of is that I am a true blue member for JetBlue and I think it was a perk. Trust me the next line made up for it. Security moved slowly. I got through and proceeded to Dunkin’ Donuts and had a muffin and iced coffee for breakfast.

After I ate (it was not good) I went to the gate.


I had about a 30 minute wait then we boarded. I was the first person on. I felt special. lol
Boarding went quick and we left I think on time.


Bored on the plane. Took a self portrait.




Right now according to the map we are over North Carolina. 7:08 am


It was one big cloud all the way down it felt like.


I have music playing in the tablet which is 4 parks, 1 world CD. Love it.

Almost there.


Just hit little turbulence, dropped a little. Overall it was a great flight. Early.

Got off the plane quickly and went to the monorail. I chatted with some guy there. Then I went to the magical express. Had a seat on the bench by the window and then waited. After 5 minutes we were told we could board. Then we sat there for over 20 minutes waiting for people. I got the front seat.


The bus next to us, we got a yellow Mears bus.


Then we were off. Our driver was okay. He became my best friend when he said I would be first for drop off. I was the only one going to SSR. The movie they show on the bus was green for some reason.

The new resort. Might stay there in October.


Got to the resort.


I had done online check-in and was told my room was ready. I was so happy. Now in December I met Bart and Melanie at the Madagascar MO meet and they said they stayed in the Grand Stand section and it was great. I put the request in for that section when I booked. The very nice CM then informed me I got the section. WOOHOO!

Then she gave me our "Happily Ever After" pins (I wore mine once being Vinny never wanted to wear his). She told me we were in room 8532 and gave me the map. I then turned to leave and when I reached the door the man there called for me. The CM behind the desk wanted me. I went back and she gave me a "Happy Birthday" pin. Then I was on my way.
Went to the room and the location could not have been better.


The pool was right there, the bus stop was a 2 minute walk. The pool also had a soda fountain so no walking to main building to refill. Our view was the parking lot and golf course.

Time to stop for now.

I love the magical express ride! We always rent a car at the airport now (got spoiled with the convenience of having one), but my daughter and I will let my husband and son get the rental while we take ME. They usually beat us by just a little bit. I think someone from the party has to ride ME to get luggage transferred anyway on the way over. My daughter and I dont think it's a sacrifice. . I always take pictures or video's on the ride over. My husband thinks I'm nuts! Can't wait to read more of your report!
