We will be headed out to Mammoth in a few weeks. Never been there and we will be there for our anniversary. We will hit Yosemite for sure, maybe we will head to Tahoe too.

Tahoe is a few hours drive from Mammoth, but IMHO worth it. You'll get plenty of beautiful at Yosemite, but if you have the time, Tahoe is also fantastic. Enjoy your trip. I want to hear all about it and Happy Anniversary!

Great report! Sounds like a great spring break trip. I've always wanted to visit that area, but I'm no skier! Looks like a long weekend in off-season would be perfect.

Yes, especially in the summer. The lake has some beautiful beaches!

Great spring break TR Linda. Living only 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe must be incredible for it looks like such a beautiful place.

The condo did have a rustic look but I have stayed in places that looked much worse and I'm sure it wasn't too bad. Glad you had a great time and really enjoyed reading the report. My wife is very jealous and said she would love to do this type of trip when our kids get much older.

Jay, buddy, thanks for reading. You're right. Tahoe is incredible and I will never get tired of looking at those mountains.
