Default WOW! SSR not available

Just looked for our time period in April to switch to SSR and 4 out 8 days are not available. I thought this was the one place you could get into and it is our home resort.

Oh well I guess we will keep OKW.

Just very surprised.

It has been happening more frequently this past year.

I remember that last during the F&W Festival, everything was booked up. Ditto for Christmas time.

There is no free dining and the new credit policy/penalty for no shows is working.

I think that with the recent refurbishing, the really decent bus service, and the proximity to DTD (and the concomitant proximity to buses that take you to other resorts for restaurants, etc.), SSR is gaining in popularity.

Honestly, for us, it's always a toss-up: Do we stay at AKV-Kidani/Savannah or SSR? We love both so much.... Of course, that's a really good problem to have, no?

Back in November, during Jersey Week and Festival of the Masters in DTD, I could find nothing at SSR in the one bedroom category, no matter how often I checked.

Thankfully, Kidani was available - only had to move a couple of times.

Scott, though, I'm as surprised as you are about late-April.

I had one of those one-bedrooms during that timeframe, and felt very lucky to get it because we booked it kind of late, like the end of Aug/early September if I remember. I remember that SSR was the only option open to me when I called and checked, but that was fine with me. We are among those that like staying at SSR.
