![]() Hi Julie, and Nancy! Hi to all ROFR peeps! ![]() to DH birthday Julie!Janet-your cruise is getting closer... ![]() KJJ-the costume you made for your daughter is beautiful. Have a great time with your girlfriends in WDW! I just watched my first episode of Smash actually by accident. I liked it. We have a few students from DS old high school that want to go to New York-Broadway so it is interesting to watch the show. One lives in the City and has been on some of the episodes for another program called Glee. Tammy-Wow, congrats on the great ship credit! ![]() Jenn-I am excited about our meet in SF with Duffy and Perry! ![]() Have fun in Vegas!

![]() We got poured on for about 15 minutes she apparently didn't seek shelter. On another day it rained almost all day (something like 8-6) and I still saw people looking like this. All I could think was, didn't you look at a forecast? If not, spring for a poncho.

Jessica- I'm glad your husband is doing well...Best wishes.
Update on the cruise credits. I booked 3 rooms ( paid for all of them ) and still have 3 weeks to go to fill the ship. So far my room $460 ship board credit. Caroline's room $60 ship board credit. My parents room $110 ship board credit ( I told them to keep the credit to pay towards their tips )... |

Enjoy! Definitely have to check out one of those half-price places on my next visit (probably August 2013 before the D23 Expo). Quote:

Hi Brian! Just saw your posts... I missed the pillow fighting? Is that KJJ's alternative plans due to the rain? I'll have to go back.
PS Ladies: I NEVER wear white in Disney. There are water rides and spray fountains all around... Sue's photo = ![]() Jess: and !!! I am sSo thankful for your DH, and for the great update. Thanks for popping in to keep us in the loop!!!Janet: I hope you enjoy the cruise! Can't wait to hear all about it! Tammy: you are the QUEEN of cruising; those credits are awesome! ![]() Jenn: I have never seen a show in Vegas, but I hope you get a really good recommendation and ENJOY! ![]() Hi Julie! ![]() KJJ: how did you know we would be sore??? Yes... my shoulder (from pitching?) and DH's foot. Is this what it feels like to NOT be 18 anymore? ![]() Despite feeling sore, DH, DS11, and I took a tour of a private school for average to exceptional children who learn differently... The price tag is $22,500 a year, and we have TWO boys who would do very well there. Even if we cut our Disney budget, that wouldn't cover it... DH and I are thinking it over. DS11 says he wants to go to middle school with his buddies anyway. ![]() Being a parent is tough! Putting that on the table for now, just concentrating on the fact that it's almost Friday, and I hope you are all well! ![]() Last edited by KJ and Crew; 03-22-2012 at 10:01 PM. |

Hi Everyone.
Jess, great news about your DH. Kristen, that is a lot of money for middle school! I'm sure you and Neil will make the best decision for your family. ![]() So Brian and Jason, looks like the Tebow deal went through. Not to be mean, but I hope he rides the bench. Sanchez can't do squat against my Pats. I'm still so sad.... I know that's normal. It just stinks. Started bawling today when I took Gizmo and Bandit out for a walk and found myself staring at the fence around our pool. Sebastian was so small he could squeeze through the rails. We called him "Sibbie Houdini" when he did that trick. Boy does this suck. Sorry to be Debbie Downer.... I'll try not to talk about it too much. While I'm at it with the bad news: We cancelled our CA trip for this summer. I actually did it last weekend, but with Sebastian's passing I kind of forgot about it, to be honest. It's a long story why, but the short version is the cost would have been astronomical to do the trip the way we wanted to do it. Like 6K for an 8 night trip astronomical. So, I rebooked us at AKV Kidani for 7 nights in a 1 BR, arriving the same day we were supposed to arrive in DL. So our first full day there will be DS's 7th bday. As those of you who read Abby's birthday trip TR know, she chose the Pirate's League for her "special treat". DS chose a day at Typhoon Lagoon. We have non-premium APs so we've never taken the kids to either of the water parks. DH and I last went in 1996. I rented an umbrella for the day (much more reasonable than a cabana), not on his actual b-day since he can't wear a birthday button on his bathing suit! We are also going to have dinner at Chef Mickey's (of course) and then do a Wishes cruise the night of his b-day with our friends from Jacksonville. So, all in all I am pleased with how it all turned out, considering I booked 5 months in advance. I am disappointed about not seeing DL and especially Carsland, but as my MO friends pointed out via email, it isn't going anywhere.Man, I am miss Sunshine around here, huh? ![]()
