Aulani Webcast - Did you view it?

Today was the Aulani webcast. I went ahead and watched/listened to most of it while I did something else on the computer. I hope the lithograph is different than the last one.

They also had a special offer for buying points. If you buy 100 points you get another 100 one time use points. 200 you get 200...well, it's up to 200 since it is one time use points.

Assuming you get the incentives as well, that's almost like getting a previous use years points.

Hi Sir Aaron. I watched it too. Initially I was excited to hear that the deadline for the promotion is Jan. 7th. We're going to Aulani soon and will be home just before the deadline. I was thinking that if we decided we wanted to vacation there at the holidays regularly (after having experienced it), we'd have a chance to enjoy the promotion. Alas, the Jan. 7th deadline is for the gift card they are offering. Apparently you only have 2 weeks after watching the webcast to enjoy the extra $2/point discount.

Those extra/double points are strictly to be used at certain resorts (AKV, SSR, OKW) and I don't believe they can be banked like a previous years points.

To add, incentives cannot be combined.

I got pretty excited about it until I heard about the restrictions. Thought maybe could get triple points if we added on and have a Feb UY. Our guide is on a cruise right now and will talk to him later this week. Let you know what he says.

well, at least I get a lithograph.

I thought it showed more coverage of the resort than the previous videos I've seen. But I could be wrong.

You are going to have a great time there. Aulani definately looked to be a great place to stay.

I watched it last week & already called my guide drooling.

The points match is on full price per point, cannot be banked and I believe can only be used at 7 month window. Yes, you should get tripple points. We are looking at 150 points Sept UY, so would get current 2011 points as well as 150 matching points. If you added on with a Feb UY, you should get current UY, matching points & then 2012 points

Thanks!! This is very tempting, especially if this means 3x the points for us. We were looking at SSR, you too? Still not sure about the multiple resort thing but that's another thread.

We will be adding on, just not sure where.
The matching points are only for AK & Aulani, and only at full price. I have the link from my guide if you can't wait... pm me & I can email it to you.

I watched the webcast and was waiting for the special pricing information to show up on screen. Instead, they only talked about the bonus points but not about pricing, and wanted me to chat or call to get the special pricing. I ran out of time so didn't get a chance to call! Was there anything else besides $2 off/point?
