No, the flexibility of the points system sold me.

I voted no. We love the flexibility. We don't go the same time every year. And then we also have short trips of 4 or 5 nights.

No, I don't think so. We normally go around the same week, but have added other trips throughout the year. Also, the flexibility was great when I was pregnant last year, I was going to be too far along to travel so we called and moved our trip up a few weeks. It worked out great, the doctor was happy and DS got to go on his 1st unofficial Disney vacation.

Cool

Since we live on the east coast and the plane trip is so long I might consider Aulani only for a fixed week. But for the other DVC resorts flexibility is key.

what sold us on dvc was the flexibility. we looked at our purchase as something we could use in different ways as our lives changed. for us, having the ability to go to different places at different times, was probably the most profound reasons for buying.

The flexibility sold us too. When we can go and size of accommodation - then add the availability/flexibility of staying at other resorts (on property and off) and we were hooked.

I voted no. Over the past 11 years of DVC ownership our vacation habits have changed. First we always went to WDW in January. Then we changed to late August followed by changing to a fall/spring routine. Now we are back to January DVC stays. A fixed week thing would not have worked for us.

Too many WDW visits to count now that I live nearby part time, 1 DL trip & 3 Disney Cruises.

I voted no because we rarely, if ever, go the same week twice. For a few years we did the first week of december and the third week of August, but now with the kids in middle school we cobble 4 days in wherever we can get it.

That's the primary reason we bought-flexibility (and room discount).

No for us. We love getting the annual pass and using it at least twice. Plus we have stayed anywhere from 5-11 nights. I've had to reschedule a couple times too.
