i'm not a gig camera guy, but i was wondering how long it take for the pics to show up on line?

About 5 minutes or less. The photos were on the phone in under a minute. The phone then waits for the camera to stop sending for a certain time then reconnects to 3g to upload them to the net. Its all automatic with the eyefi card and the android or iphone app. See the thread about the eyefi card here in the community forum.
