Default need a Disney fix? SW weekend pics!

Hi folks,

There are so many great TRs on this forum right now that I won't bother "competing" for your attention with mine. (I don't have time to do it justice anyway, it's end of the school year and report card time!!)
I did think I would share some of our pictures from our recent long weekend trip to the World to take in our first Star Wars Weekend.
We stayed in a BWV studio. It's been awhile since I've stayed in a studio and I was quite surprised with how roomy it was. Even for 4 of us (DH, me, DS16 and DS11) it was quite comfortable for 3 nights and 4 days.

Here are some pics in and around BWV. We were on the first floor, room 1014.

This cute fellow greeted us upon entry:

I took some pictures before it got cluttered up with our stuff:

More to come...

In and Around the BWV area:

Our first meal was lunch at Beaches and Cream. We sat at the counter as there were no tables available. No food pics - sorry - although, stay tuned, as I do have some from our yummy birthday dinner at Flying Fish!
B&C has a rather ridiculous refillable mug rule. One must physically leave the restaurant and re-enter on the take-out side to get one's mug filled. Even our server agreed it was kind of asinine and told us that she has been told off several times for not following the refillable mug protocol.
Anyway - despite that - we had a great meal of burgers and onion rings (I love those onion rings!!)

The boys had arcade credits left over from March burning a hole in their pockets so we headed there next for a very few minutes:

On the way back to BWV (to go swimming - it was hot!) I snapped away. I got a new camera for my birthday and was anxious to try it out! (Just a Nikon point and shoot, nothing fancy!)

Scary Clown Pool pics coming up!!

Great pics! I had a minor wig out thinking we'd been there at the same time and we'd missed you guys, but you were there the week before us .

I loved the pictures of BWV, we'll be there for thanksgiving for the first time in a 1 bedroom (we stayed in a studio for our 16th anniversary and loved it)...

BWV - my favourite place in the "World" I could happily spend the winter months there.

Yes, we were there for our Canadian Long Weekend (Victoria Day - yes, named for that long, dead queen.) But hey, I won't argue with any reason to have a long weekend!
It would have been great fun to hook up again! DS11 would love to hang out with your girls. I hope you guys have an awesome time at Thanksgiving!

What follows is some scary clown pool pics. Hey, did y'all know (channeling my inner Texan) that after the recent refurb of the clown pool his eyes glow at night? I didn't get a picture of that but it was kinda cool.

Up Next: Saturday evening at DHS and our first experience with the new and improved Star Tours.
