What's not happy about that?

I was really pulling for Chicago to finish the monumental upset. I would have liked nothing more than to see Luongo and the Sedin sisters crying in the locker room after blowing a 3-0 series lead to the 8 seed.

That being said...

I like Philly/Caps in the East. I don't see the Canuckleheads making it out of the West, but who will... I'm not sure. Maybe the Chokes... I mean, Sharks... finally?

Haven't bothered following the NBA since about 1998. It got really boring to me, all flash (dunks/3's) and no substance (defense, free throws).

Come on dude.......I can understand if you don't like the NBA product, but free throws is your comment on what is missing. I can't believe you would be watching more often if NBA were better free throw shooters.

It's not even accurate. There have always been a similar number of bad free throw shooters in the NBA.

After watching the last 5 minutes of some playoff games take over 20, I would be in favor of anything that reduce the number of fouls and free throws.

Call me a fundamentalist. If you can't shoot at least 75% from the line, go to "the minors" and don't come back until you can. How many college players come out after 1 or 2 years, or even high schoolers, and do nothing but flounder in the NBA, if they even make the final cut? Therein lies the problem - the NBA wants flash, so flash is what they get. And often that flash has already burned out before they play a single NBA game. Yes, there are exceptions, but too few. IMHO.

I'm like that with baseball, too. If you don't know the fundamentals, get off the field. Maybe it's because my hometown team (The Twin[kie]s) have been like that for decades now, it's rubbed off on me.

Wonder what the Hall Of Fame will do with all that extra space after all the poor free throw shooters are sent home.

The actual NBA average is around 75%. Even most of the better field goal shooters in the NBA average in the high 70s and low 80s.

Makes me miss Reggie Miller,........ He could hit his FT , especially at Crunch Time.

Lakers down 0-3 , Lakers in trouble

Reggie is just generally missed. Very underrated player and a great guy. His sister wasn't bad either.

Looks like Kobe has found another big man to run out of town.

Looks like big trouble.

Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers threw a no hitter today!

So I was at WDW last week and missed two no-hitters (Liriano and Verlander) and a horse named ANIMAL KINGDOM won the Kentucy Derby! I should have put my money where my mouth was when I saw that name. I also would have put money on the Dos Equis hourse (STAY THIRSTY), but I would have picked the winner! Oh well, maybe next time.

By the way - can't stand the NBA. I can watch playoff hockey though. The series and games have been exciting for the most part. Just keep the drama high and I don't care who wins. Here's to a great finish!
