Default Tower of Terror Lobby

I was staying at the Millenium Biltmore Hotel in downtownLos Angeles this weekend. I wandered into what was either the original lobby of the hotel or it may have been a library. Anyways, upon walking in, I immediately recognized that this was the inspiration for the lobby of the Tower of Terror. There was no mistaking "where" I was at.

WOW! That must be freaky to walk into someplace and know you've been THERE before but not been there before.

For reference, here's a shot of the ToT lobby I found online:

I've always wondered how the ceiling remained SO clean after the Hollywood Tower Hotel sat there for ~80 years.

.

It was more bizarre than anything. We had walked in from the upstairs portion of that. So, it was the reverse angle of what I am used to seeing in the TOT lobby. As soon as I walked in, I just announced "Holy Crap! It's the Tower of Terror Lobby!" The timing was perfect because it was pouring down rain Friday night and by the time we got there, it was pushing midnight. I would've taken picture then but, I seriously needed a cocktail at that point due to the valet staff that seemed to tick us off with each interaction.
