As many of you know, we were guests of Sandals for a Fam trip in December at their Jamaica resorts, including Sandals, Beaches, Royal Plantation and Grand Pineapple resorts. We spent a couple of nights at Sandals Dunns River and two more nights at Beaches Negril.
We found that Beaches Negril was a very nice property with outstanding service. The food was not as good as we had at Sandals but it was quite nice, especially in the non-buffet restaurants. At one time, it was a much longer ride from the airport at Montego Bay to Negril but they have put in a new road which cuts the ride to about an hour through very interesting country. Sandals does maintain a very nice reception center and lounge just outside of customs in the Montego Bay airport so the fun begins as soon as you arrive in Jamaica. This is the view of the waterpark area from our balcony ![]() Additional view of the waterpark area ![]() The buffet area for breakfast, lunch and dinner ![]() Special low buffet for kids ![]() Buffet Seating Area ![]()
