Default New E-Book covers the Disney Vacation Club

I downloaded and read the new PassPorter's Disney Vacation Club Guide: For Members and Members To Be (2009).

I highly recommend it for prospective and new DVC members. While there are a couple of web sites dedicated to the Disney Vacation Club (such as MouseOwners), and DVC forums on many of the Disney fan site discussion boards, this new downloadable E-book brings a lot of good information together.

At 168 pages, it explains what the Disney Vacation Club is, how much it costs, how to purchase it, how to use it, what the perks are, as well as reviews of every DVC resort and a discussion on how you can use your points outside of the DVC resorts.

If you've been a member for some time or have a good understanding of DVC, you won't find anything new. But it's a great guide book for those considering becoming DVC members or for those who have recently joined and want a great explanation of getting the most out of their membership.

Thanks Mike! I just downloaded mine on thursday, did not get the chance to read it but value your opinion on it. I think we should make it a Sticky in the DVC purchasing area for the new ones to get references. I Love Passporter.com!!!!

As a new DVC member I found this e-book to be a great compilation of information. The writing is crisp and clear, and it is well-organized.

Hey Mike;

Are you a member of passprter, do you think its worth the money? They seem to have a number of e-books and spreadsheets. I like the idea of worable spreadsheets, but I can use excell.

Mike or anyone with input I would appreciate it.

I am a PassPorter Club Member and I find it worthwhile for two reasons.

Firstly, I have found several of the e-books very helpful, and with membership I can download any or all of them without charge.

Secondly, I have met many wonderful people on line initially on the PP Boards and since at WDW in person--including Jennifer and Dave (the publishers of PassPorter) and their family--and membership is my way of supporting the wonderful boards there that I access practically every day.

I have been a member, but I'm not so sure it's worth it. I'm thinking I won't renew. They do offer a bunch of e-books and spreadsheets. I've never tried any of the spreadsheets, and the only e-book I really liked was the new DVC one.

I'm sure there are others out there with different opinions.

I do enjoy their two main guide books (WDW and DCL).

I belong to their club, and I do like all their E-Books.

for about $5.00 you can get one month pass, see if you like it and if you do not you can cancel.

A friend of mine joined for one month and downloaded all the ebooks then canceled.

I am an Annual Member since it is one of the friendliest boards I have seen.
here are the detailshttp://www.passporter.com/club/
