Officially check-in has always been 4pm. Never heard the 4-6pm term. I think they try to have the room ready by 4. Staffing isnt what it used to be. Hope you get your room sooner than 6pm.that would upset me too.

BCV has always been late for us - even worse than BWV! Poly seemed the earliest check in for us - usually got the text while driving in - around 2-ish. BCV for us has been well after 4. Good Luck!

Is it possible that by "rooms are available 4-6" they mean that during that time they will accept last-minute reservations if available? If they have open rooms they would surely like to sell them....

Last week my AKV club level studio was available at noon.

BCV is always first to knock and last to get in for me.

Last week, staying at OKW, we got the room ready text a few hours after the room number had been assigned. I happened to check for the room number in "Resort Hotel" in MDE and saw that we had a room number. That was around 2 PM. I got the text at 4:30. We also stayed at Vero Beach, and got the room ready text at 1:46.

From prior stays at BCV, rooms have been ready much later than at other DVC resorts.

I do stalk the mde app for room. We got our room a little after five. Left the pool and went up and maintance was still in there fixing the pull down bed.
I agree, Ive stayed at BCV 3 times and my room is always well after five. One time it was 545 and I had 530 dinner ressies in Epcot so that was annoying.

My thing is, don't deliver my room at 5pm and knock on my door at 8:30-9am.
It's not like they are turning rooms over early, so I may as well stay in mine if Im not catching a flight.

Every year when we check into the BCV, my room is usually ready after in that 4- 6 window. LAst year my room at GF was not ready until 8 - thank goodness it was a split ressie. My mother was still alive then and I booked our other room for the night so we would not be without a room because that would have been too much for her.
