VGF Resort Studio Review

Sorry to disappoint. I wrote a lengthy review and in editing, it got deleted…operator error, I am sure. Too late to re-write everything.

Long story short, we love it! And, we are not folks who are easily pleased…beautiful soothing colors and quality furnishings. When microwaves are installed, (now on back order) they will be close to having a “kitchenette” just like a deluxe studio only with the sink in the bathroom. Having 2 beds and a sofa works well. Very spacious (except closet) and very well lit. Can’t beat the proximity to the lobby and main pool! We will definitely stay here again.

They're going to put in microwaves? (Now if only they'd add the mini-fridge...)

No. You can ask for toasters or microwaves on request per a CM who showed us rooms on the 10th. No intention of installing them at all.

There's a report elsewhere that says they are planning to add microwaves, but they are currently on back order. IIRC, I read it on Facebook, where someone posted over 70 pictures. If I find it again, I will post the link.

Hope the ones on back order are white. Black ones kind of stick out.

Rooms and Lobby look great. I will be excited to try it out.

ETA: Found pictures, but not comment. Ii will keep looking for source when I have more time.

If you read the article with the pictures of the microwave you will see they are telling guests they are available upon request. I see nothing about them all coming with them at this time. This came from DVC tour guides as well

YES to microwaves…manager knocked on the door shortly after we requested to change rooms (first one had a closed balcony…although the room was slightly bigger and configured differently, very nice) to make sure we were ok.

They will not list in included features until they are installed. There is a shelf above the coffee maker where they will go. In the meantime, you can request one.

Yes, except for some landscaping, the exterior is complete.

The place is Gorgeous! Perfect morning view with shaded balcony (lagoon view)…sitting out there now.

We had packed up all the refrigerator items that were left when leaving Vero Beach yesterday. The beverage cooler here did a good job of keeping things cold overnight. Holds less. But, for our purposes…milk, cheese, yogurt and fruit, did just fine.

Great to hear! Will be there in September & I did tour the sample studio in May. I love how close it is to everything & that microwaves/toasters will be added!

Read past posts that walls are thin. Are you hearing any noise from neighbors?
