Smile Fourth Ressie a Charm...Maybe This Time

After three reservation date changes (from this past spring break, to this summer, to Christmas), at two different resorts ( Jambo and SSR) we have most recently scheduled two 2BR for six days at the Grand Floridian for next June. Talk about the pandemic changing plans! And we may still not be out of the woods. Time will tell...

Anyway we are excited to stay at GF. A first for us. Any hints, ideas, suggestions, do’s and don’ts while staying at the GF from fellow MOs would be welcomed!

Gaspirilla grill is a good quick service with pizza and some yummy sweet treats. You also have the new walking path but in June it's too hot to hoof it since that's what you do in the parks all the time anyway.
A nice big room to spread out in is everyone's Disney dream.

I am wondering about the pool situation at the Grand Floridian. It appears pool capacity at the GF might not be adequate to handle resort capacity.
We had the same complaint about BLT. Am I wrong?

Will be there middle of June for a week. Hoping to rent either a cabana at the Beach Pool or a poolside patio at the Courtyard Pool. Recommendations?

Grand Floridian Cafe is reasonably priced, and the food has always been good for us. Didnít try the pool, but it never looked too crowded when we would look that direction. Enjoy!

That’s what I was going to add as well regard GFC. Love that at “Blunch” you can have breakfast items or classic lunch fare. It’s our typical first day on property lunch. Nice setting.

I recommend the Cabana!

Our next trip back to GFV will be end of September, for the 50th celebration.

Welp, under pressure from daughters, and amid fears of tight quarters at GFV, we changed our ressie back home. Three one br villas at SSR in June. The feeling was itís less cramped than GFV and more pool options.

A lake view one br, and acstandard view two br at GFV opened up today...
