I’m supposed to be in Houston. for both of our trips!!!

Thanks for the notice. we'll be there the prior weekend with family. Until my niece graduates high school (1 more year), we are tied to the prior weekend by a day off that she gets. After that, we can go whenever for both of our trips.

Wow - is this a first announcing dates a year prior? We have not booked yet and would love to go but don't want to miss Halloween home with the grandchildren. We will be there the next weekend.

Thank you for posting. Hoping they announce this early moving forward.

Yea I was surprised they announced. I just happened to google looking for 2019 dates to get an idea and this popped up.

The Swan and the Dolphin are pretty much "conference hotels", i.e. much (I suspect most) of their business comes from hosting meetings of one sort or another. So planning well in advance is nothing special for them.

Yes, but they always announce dates about 6 months or so prior to the event - way down the road after many booked. I won't move my dates around since we should stay at the Beach Club for Food & Wine. This year would have been great. It's more or less pretty close to the time that there might be some wiggle room to change date.

Not sure if will be there for the 2021 event. But I am adding it to me booking windows. But I might pay cash and stay at the S&D, buying the package.

If their cancellation policy is reasonable, that might be your safest/easiest option.
