I realize given what the world is going through and our country this is lower on the list. But , Disney was one of the few places to escape from the troubles of the "real" world into Walt's world. The Happiest Place is breaking a lot of people hearts lately..

Nearly all shows and streetmosphere are eliminated.

Rumors are Voices of LIberty will be gone after Christmas or in the new year.

So sad.

This is unfortunately the power of the Pandemic. These shows are not sustainable with COVID restrictions and cannot be offered safely in a mass-attendance setting.

It will be an interesting 50th to be sure.

Honestly. I worry about that for AKL. AT some point they may have to decide “The African themed resort is enough.” Or they could thin the herds out to not stock the Jambo side if they expect that to be closed for quite some time. Just stock Sunset.

We won’t be back to Disney until the major resorts are fully functioning and entertainment is back. If we lived closer, I wouldn’t mind it, but to go from NJ for long trips (I can’t get away for short trips multiple times a year), it’s the whole thing or nothing. In my profession, I need a minimum of two weekends away to decompress.

It’s going to be a long drought.

For us, we hadn't planned to go back until October, 2021 anyway, so things will have a year to do....something.

The trips these past couple of months were not bad (in the sense that it's hard for a trip to WDW to really be bad), but they were not like in the Before Times by any stretch.

Cheers.
