Talking New and Happy to be Here!

Finally diving into the forums after being a DVC owner since Oct 2019! Hoping to learn lots and looking forward to making friends with folks who are as Disney Crazed as we (wife+husband+4 yo Princess/Villain) are!

Just got back from WDW (9/18/20-9/22/20) for our 11 year anniversary!

Happy Anniversary! Delighted you were able to spend your special occasion at your magical home!

What is your DVC home resort? We own at Poly and AKV.

Thank you! We ate our way around Epcot and had an absolute blast!

We own at Riviera and Bay Lake (I'm not super great with the acronyms yet!)

But we stayed at Boardwalk because we booked so last minute! Which was also super lovely!

Happy Anniversary & a belated Welcome Home.
Where did you stay on this last trip, and how was the experience?
Provide as many details as you can remember!

We stayed at Boardwalk this go around and it was lovely!

Somehow we lucked out and were upgraded to a 1 bedroom (we had booked a studio). Plus, since I'm originally from South Jersey - it was super reminiscent of my childhood (I saw Lucy the Elephant at least a dozen times each summer) so I had fun pointing that out to our daughter and teaching her the Lucy the Elephant song.

Dinners were tricky since we couldn't just run and eat at Epcot every night, so we road the Skyliner a lot to pick up food at other places once we tired of pizza.

The parks were great! We ate our way around Epcot for two days, had one super rainy day at MK, and one absolutely BEAUTIFUL day at MK and my daughter rode Splash Mountain for the first time and loved it! Though she calls in Mickey's Mountain for some reason.

I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience post-covid (we were last there in March right before they closed) and we have plans to go back in December!
