NEWS: Grand Californian Models to Open for Memorial Day - The DVC Boards at MouseOwners.com - the place to talk DVC and Walt Disney World

Model rooms for the Grand Californian Villas at the Disneyland sales center will open just in time for Memorial Day weekend. From May 23rd - 26th, DVC will offer special preview sessions exclusively for current DVC members who live in the Southern California area. DVC's “Founding Member” sales program will allow current members who initially purchased through the California sales center an exclusive two-month period in which to purchase up to 160 points at the Grand Californian.

After this two-month period, sales will be opened up to other members as well as to the general public. (It is not yet clear whether existing members will have priority over the general public.)

Wow - so if they are going on sale that soon - when will we get a glimsp of the point charts and maintenance fees??? Any time frame on the opening????

When I go out to visit DD for Mother's Day, I'm going to try to swing by there on my way home to check out the rooms. Not sure if I'll talk DD into a day at DL or not, but hoping we can at least cruise by...it is a BIT out of the way.

Well, if you do swing by, then you could also have a drink with a friend.

I want enough to spend a couple of days/year. It will go nicely with trips to Club 33

I am hoping that 100 pts will be sufficient.
