Default Anyone looking to buy now.

I'm guessing prices are going to call on used DVD contracts and wondering if anyone is looking to buy. I want an Aulani but I will not pay more then $80

If we can get one of the undesirable (to us) properties like SSR or OKW cheap I might look into it for later in life.

Cheers.

I havenít seen a drop in prices yet. But there may be a slight increase in inventory.

Definitely not right now, but if prices drop dramatically (which I believe it will with the recession coming), I will probably pick up another contract at WDW that time. Hopefully, I will still have a job to buy.

But I rather not see a recession. I will be happy take a not so huge stock loss in 401K balances compared to the few thousands I might save on a DVC contract. In fact I would be happy to pay more for a DVC contract over taking the 401k lost.

I can not imagine anyone buying DVC right now. In fact,In various groups on facebook, I have been telling anyone that asks about buying to wait or stop the where ever they are in the process.

I don't need more points, but I'm always on the lookout for a bargain. If I can get the right resort with the right use year at the right price, I'll probably do it.

I know I wouldn't be buying right now! We are in the end process of selling a small contract and every day I wait for the email saying our buyers are backing out. We've returned our closing docs but they have not... We will see!

Find a contract and make an $75-$80 offer - - you never know until you ask. This is definitely the time.

I just had a contract pass through Marriott's ROFR in Hawaii that was about 21% of what they wanted directly for an annual ocean front villa. Not DVC equivalent by any means, but this is the time to make those offers.

I'm working on our "roving retirement" plan with this current economic opportunity.

Oh, we only want to stay at BWV and BCV. My thought is that, after retirement, we may be able to sneak into these with less-valuable points for mid-week less popular times since we can travel at any time then. I know 7-month is getting harder, but I hear of plenty of people still getting it.

However, we'll be 82 in 2042. We may be done with Disney...maybe not

Cheers.
