Was just getting ready to post - I think you're the first one. I imagine that this will be when we really see the crowds go nuts.

Wow...
Thanks for the news!

PS it's on the regular WDW site too... https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/de...-galaxys-edge/

I wonder if any onsite perks will be offered at WDW?
Or will it show up for FP+

Jan 17 is the opening date for Disneyland . This time WDW will go first .

I am glad that by my Nov 2020 trip things will settle down .

Did you notice they article said Dec 5 is Walt’s Birthday. I think this is a nice way to honor him. I expect this will quickly become the most popular ride anywhere .

I am especially excited st the thought of riding it for my 70th birthday. It is a ride for all ages.

What will be the written short cut for the ride? SW: ROR? It goes with SW:GE.

Cannot wait! It's nice they are opening in WDW before DL with this attraction, even if it means that "we" get to work out the bugs!

I use ROTR in my planning. Which is now officially on my sheet.

Now to reorganize some stuff. We were there for opening day of MFSR so it seems like something we just have to do to be there for ROTR... and it landed on our travel dates by complete luck. We had AK planned for this day... It was kind of mid-trip, half-day with lots of down time... so it's easy enough to rebuild as a HS day, but then I have to cut some other day out. And we have APs, but some in our group are on non-hopper tickets so if we make this a HS day we can't jump over to AK... Hmmm. Tough choices...

Looking things over... this may require an upgrade. Can anyone tell me, can we bridge regular day-locked 4(+2)-day tickets from UCT to hoppers at the parks? If so, is this a fixed price or how does that work?

We will be there during this opening and I wish I could be excited about it but all I can think about is how crowded the world will be.
