Default Epcot’s Takumi Tei Signature restaurant

http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2019/0...n-this-summer/

Has any one. Heard any more about this restaurant ?

That will make four places to eat in Japan .

We talked about it here before haven't we? Though maybe not by name (translation: too lazy to search for the thread to see if it was here). I just remember wagyu beef being discussed. I'm interested but I find Japanese food to be delicious so a good add to me.

I went looking but could not find the thread . The name will be a hard one to remember .

Finally found it

I don't have an issue with the name - rolls off well for me, but I took Japanese for a few years. While I don't remember a ton, words roll off my tongue easily in Japanese still.

After all what Epcot needs are more places to spend money, they have plenty of rides and attractions!

But none is a Signature Steakhouse, serving Waugu beef!

I do question Disney adding two more Table Service restaurants this year. And if Brazil pavilion pans out, a third table service restaurant.

Mitsukoshi is likely paying for part or all of this. They operate the Japan pavilion, and the other stores and restaurants in it. If someone wants to build a restaurant on their dime, Disney isn't going to say no.

The restaurant opened today.

Here’s a look at some of the menu:

https://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/taku...n-pavilion.htm

Note the part at the bottom:

“Takumi-Tei is open for dinner from 4pm to 9pm. Reservations will be available from July 16 2019 with bookings starting on that day via 407-WDW-DINE or online. To make reservations for the Chef’s Table Dining Experience, call Mitsukoshi directly at (407) 827-8504”.

Thanks!
Even keeping in mind that we are seeing a promotional page, the food looks amazing!
