Default Top of the World Lounge for DVC

We would like to try Top of the World lounge to watch fireworks. How early should we plan to go to get in? Fireworks are at 9pm the night we are considering. Does it typically hit capacity? Looks beautiful but dont really want to hang out for 3hrs.

To merely see the fireworks, you can arrive at 8:55.
If you want a seat and drinks, you need to get there about an hour earlier.

I would recommend getting there at 8pm, or at least an hour prior to fireworks.

Also agree with minutes before just to see fireworks. Maybe an hour or so if drinks to enjoy before hand.

We went to TOTWL for New Years Eve. We arrived about 5-10 Minutes before midnight. We were the last 2 the made it as we made it to the capacity limit. Unless you are doing 4th of July you will be fine to get a spot to view them.

We tried the last minute Ö long line to board the elevator , they were checking for wristbands and IDs and member cards. Depends when you will be there? busy time? Get there early!
An hour prior is not unreasonable.

Iíve gotten in 10 minutes beforehand, unless it is a very busy time you can usually get there not too far in advance. Sometimes there is a wait on the first floor to get the elevator up though.

Have they been enforcing the new "staying at BLT" rule?

That's only for blackout dates. As far as I have heard those are enforced.
