Default New Credit Card Authorization policy in effect now - Any personal experiences?

Now that the new policy is in effect, I love to hear some personal experiences with anyone checking in recently or in the near future.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about it....or at least I am confused

Thanks!

We were at WDW (SSR) for a week at the end of January. It was a non-issue for us - didn’t notice any difference.

I stayed at Jambo House 2 weeks ago and also noticed no difference. Unless your credit card is close to being maxed out, I wouldn't worry about it.

I just copied this:

ďAccording to Disney Destinations, on your day of arrival, the Resort hotel will place an authorization hold on your card for any balance due on the reservation plus $100 for estimated incidental expenses.

If your spending exceeds the original $100 hold, additional incremental holds will be created automatically. The authorization holds on the card will not exceed the current balance due plus $100.Ē

You can opt out but then you cannot charge to your MB.
