Default Add on to CCV Now

In light of recent changes, what is the opinion of adding on a small contract
at Copper Creek prior to direct price increase? Thoughts? Is it too late?

If you want to buy at CCV I’d definitely do so before the price increase. If you’re unsure about wanting to own at CCV then I do wait. You should be able to get the points at the current rates if you do it before the price increase.

We own at VWL and love it there. If this had been available to buy in 2010 direct that’s where we would have bought. Our is a resale we bought in 2011.

Not too late.......If you want to buy more points at CCV , now is the time. The price is going up $6 per point and the resort will be sold out in 8-10 months.

If it will be sold out in 8-10 months. It looks like Disney is pretty good at having that timeline down to have another resort ready to sell.

I think last time I looked it was almost 85% declared. It seems to be selling well!

Do you own there now? There have been reports that they are allowing very small contracts even though they said add on contracts needed to be 50 points.

Can you tell me what your estimate of 8-10 months is based on? You have waaay more DVC history and experience than I do, so Iím curious. Iíve contemplated doing a direct add-on at CCV before the price change but really would prefer to wait, as we are getting ready to buy a new house.

Also, if I own resale at BWV, will they let me buy a 75 point contract at CCV? I only want to stay there a few nights each year, but is the minimum buy in higher?

Before they sell out, is there any chance they could change the contract terms for new CCV owners so that if you sell, resale is only good for CCV? No idea if thatís possible, but DVD has thrown some curve balls lately so ...

The Resort is 86% declared, only 450,000 points left undeclared.

There are around 1.1 million points left at CCV in December.

Sales have averaged around 150,000 points per month.
