Default Your favorite Christmas Decorations

So excited! Our waitlist for Copper Creek came through for first of December...and I just scored a Candlelight dinner reservation at Epcot!!
As I am in the midst of chemo.. this will be a special trip for me.

This is my first time at Disney during the Holidays...what special Christmas decorations etc. are not to be missed??

TIA!

First.. I hope your treatment goes well and you're on the road to a full recovery!

For us, the decorations at Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge are not to be missed. Being at CCV is perfect to see WL and it's convenient to see GF too. We will be at BRV starting on the 5th and can't wait to see the holiday cheer. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Congratulations on the wish list and continued best wishes with your recovery!

Youíre already doing a Candlelight Processional which is always a must-do multiple times for me. If you go to Epcot earlier you can catch some of the Holidays around the World storytellers which is always enjoyable.

As far as resorts, definitely definitely definitely Grand Floridian with their gingerbread house and Christmas tree. Beach Club has an amazing chocolate carousel. And of course youíre already staying at Copper Creek so thatís covered. Several other special decorations as well, but those are the primary ones Iíd be sure to see.

Hope all goes well with your treatments!

AKL has a beautiful tree too - all of the decorations are animals. Agree with Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge (it will always be that’s to me) and Beach Club. Yacht Club’s decorations are nice as well.

I’ve yet to be impressed by either Poly or Contemporary- in comparison to the others they’re simply...meh!

Will you go to one of the parties? We’ve never been but they do have it “snow” Christmas Week - which my kids and I love! I think they also do this at the parties plus other things too!

Oh, and I forgot to add that all of the main attraction lobby decorations have a hidden mickey theme. We could spend hours looking for Hidden Mickeys! Which saves a lot of stress from the Christmas week crowds!

And Disney Springs has the Christmas Tree trail (I think that’s what it’s called). I think it was new last year but we never made it to the Springs. Heard great things about it though.

Last Christmas we were on the monorail when it was dark and saw something near the Poly that almost looked like a Christmas Tree Trail. We never went there so not sure what is was. Can anyone elaborate on what we saw?

Another big fan of the BC carousel! I never get tired of it. Also the gingerbread house at GF, if only because they sell shingles! Of course everyone's favorite Christmas decorations are no longer shown -- the Osborne lights.

Our favorites were the Grand Floridian and AKV (Jambo House). As previously stated, WL is awesome but you are staying at CCV so youíve got that already.
