Park tickets paid with discounted gift cards

We will rent a car cause we like to go off site for some things.

This is what we do. We spend at most$1,500 on a 9 day vacation for 6 people. That includes food flights and ask tickets. Wahoo

Default My kind of Trip - question on tickets

We are the same type of travelers, Free Airfare, using OKW Pts for Poly and tickets discounted.

And that is my question - We go for 9 days and buy our tickets using Target gift cards and get 5% off. (No park hoppers) Do you really save any more using any resellers? And when I mean save, more than a few bucks? We like to buy through Disney as it makes it easier.

I generally find our local AAA office has the most significant ticket discounts. The savings is usually better than the discounted gift cards. But obviously i am doing something incredibly off compared to choosymom. 5 day trip for 2 and I didnít stay within her budget-lol and we drove.

The last time we bought the special ticket they had for DVC. Going there is another one soon that is just for 4 park days. Those have been the cheapest.

You arenít the only one. Trip for two, 4 actually days, 4 night (fly out early am on last day, so donít count that one.) I havenít figured out the total cost yet, but Iím not gonna stick to her budget either.

Please know that would still have an amazing time and really don't scrimp. It's totally doable. I'm not including my maintenance fees in that cost but we only have 130 points so they are small at SSR.

We find the most expensive things are tickets and food.

Tickets: We plan our trips 1 year apart within weeks when we can. We always try to get 2 years of trips on 1 AP. I am sure a number of MO do the same.

Food: TIW and AP discounts take some of the bite off Disney TS prices. We spend around $1400 for a week for 5 people. We never hit signature.

MF: Maintenance is paid with Disney rewards. Last year, I think I paid $100 out of pocket to finish up MF. Like OP, we only have 185 so we have to point stretch everything we do. Good thing we adore SSR.

Travel: We drive. We circulate drivers through a long day of 17 hours. ~$350 round trip for 4 people in the car. If we rent a minivan because we have more than 4, the costs goes up to around ~$850 total cost. Price jumps if we plan on staying the night somewhere. Costs start to get close to flying, but we don't have to rent a car when there, so it still ends up being quite a bit cheaper.

How can you get 6 people worth of tickets for 9 days for $1500 much less have that include everything else?
