Default Which is better Jambo House or Kidani Village?

If we have a choice between the 2 which would you recommend and why? There are 7 of us myself, DH and 5 kids (3, 4, 6, 15 and 18). We want to split time between the resort, pools, dining, shopping and also a few park days. Should we stay at Jambo House or Kidani Village? (Assuming we have a choice).

I like Kidani for the quiet feel there. Also love the pool for kids of all ages and swim ability. To add the extra bathroom is a definite bonus.

Depends on villa type.

My rule is Jambo for studios, Values or Club level.

1 bedroom standard and up I book Kidani. Kidani has excellent floor plans in the larger villas. The 2 bedrooms are really spacious with 3 full baths. They feel like Grand villas.

Kidani is always my first choice.

If you plan on eating alot at Boma and Kiko, then choose Jambo House.

With 7 of you, definitely Kidani for the extra bathroom.

If you are driving Kidani has parking under the building and elevators in multiple locations so you are never too far from your car. The extra bathroom is also a huge plus.

Kidani extra bathroom is in 1/2BR villas. OP stated in another thread that they want 2 studios. In that case I vote Jambo. We stayed there in Oct...in a studio. It was standard view yet we had a nice corner view of animals. I also loved being in the Jambo building. We did a Jiko dinner and Boma breakfast. We sat at the bar twice. There is just so much going on at Jambo.

I love Kidani. Small, quiet. As everyone said, the extra bathroom is wonderful.
Jambo itself is larger. The lobby, the store, the quick service.
Probably depends on what your preferrances are.

Dislike kindani. Jambo house all the way. Better lobby. Sorry. I don't really need the extra bathroom for my trips.

Jambo smells better too with jiko cooking on the wood stove.

I find it amazing how everybody views each resort differently. Several mentioned that Kidani is quiet. I found it just the opposite. The small lobby jams up at night with people waiting for their ADRs of restaurant downstairs so each night I had to squeeze through people to get to the narrow hallway to my room. Also I found the walls paper thin, being the loudest stay of all the resorts I've stayed at. On the other hand, I LOVE Jambo. Big, open and cozy. Thinking it's just a matter of personal preference so until you stay at each of them, you won't know.
