Default Would you do it again?

I'm strongly considering buying into DVC. Missed an opportunity early on and taking another look.

For owners with more than a few years as owners:
1) would you do it again?
2) would you do it again now?
3) what frustrates you most about DVC?

If it makes any difference in your answers, my choice for home resort would be GF or BC.

Thanks for your comments!

Yes, I would do it again. Been a member since 2009, and have been able to create awesome memories and giggles. There is no way possible for my Mom or Sister to be able to go on the trips that we have been able to do because of me owning DVC. My only regret....that I didn't purchase more than the 160 points I have. I'm always in borrow mode. It's been one of the best purchases I have ever done.

1) Yes definitely. Should have done it much earlier.
2) Yes definitely. Fighting the desire to add on yet again.
3) Present frustration is challenging to get even your Home Resort at 11 months to the day at a popular resort/time of year. Noticeable difficulty increasing.

I would because we and a lot of our family like going to Disney every year. If it wasn't an every year visit then it would be a maybe for me if it were every other year. If not that then no.

But as we are, yes, I'd buy again.

We are definitely a YES in our household, with six contracts right now and discussing two more add-ons this very evening. We go at least once per year (and know that we will continue to do so indefinitely) and have never regretted the decision.

At these current resale’s/direct prices I say no it’s not worth it. Rent. You will get the greatest discount available and none of the initial investment or ongoing obligations.

1. Most definitely! We've been owners since 2004 and love what we get out of our DVC
2. We just added on in May, so yep
3. Some of the frustrations with booking. I believe this internet world has changed booking in more than one way.

I would not buy large contacts direct and never had

1) would you do it again? Yes! Should of did it sooner!!

2) would you do it again now? Probably, would cost a lot more now than when I bought in 2010(all the housing market was down). Have added on 3 times since. Have increased my trips to more than 1 each year or every other year to two or three a year. Enjoy the family trips and the look in my grandchildren's eyes each time we go. Also the trips with just me and the wife.

3) what frustrates you most about DVC? Even though I do most of my stuff online with DVC, when I do have to call I do not like how longer the waits on the phone.
