Default Fort Wilderness - say it isn't so.

http://www.breakingnews247.net/59b80...cane-irma.html

I'm hoping the link works.

I can't image them closing permanently . . . has anyone else seen anything else regarding Fort Wilderness closing?

It's been refuted from what I know. I cannot find the link because whoever posted this on my FB group, had it deleted because they didn't want false rumors. They are temporarily relocating people but I swore I read that within a week or so it will be back. Just lots of damage to trees they have to deal with first.

Damage of $1 million would be nothing to TWDC.

If true, Disney would be just using it as an excuse to put up a bigger, more profitable resort. $1MM is a drop in the bucket.

nooooooo!

According the Disney World web site, Fort Wilderness should reopen next week.

Take a look at the other headlines on the page, and the green button at the bottom that says, 'Create a Prank.' This is clearly false.

We have a trip to the Fort set for the end of next month so I have been following threads to see what type of damage exists - every indication for those currently scheduled to arrive is that they are shooting to reopen on September 18, if not before.

Ha ha, I should've thought to google that. I just didn't think to look on the site. Matched up with what I heard elsewhere too
