I admit it makes me wish Disneyland would bring back the open bucket version inside the parks. I know we will never see that unless it was an open screened version.
This system is in use all around the world. The only new thing about it is the double loading capability which wouldn’t affect the safety aspect of it.

True but the castmembers are under a minimum 6 week training program plus testing to prove they can handle all of the different types of guest needs.
It is a lot for a new style system to the World. I respect their intense training program and do not think we should view it so casually.

Anyway castmembers get to sign up one guest tonight to accompany them .

My DH was told today that they can ride next Tuesday. I will report back if this happens!

Good luck trying to outsmart schedules and crowds and traffic and weather....
and modern machinery operated with technology...and castmembers too.
Oh my! Hopefully Dorothy and her little dog won’t be flying by after the wicked witch of the westerly winds from the Bahamas.

Cool

OK.... so apparently there will be exactly 2 nights when you can take the Skyliner to watch Illuminations. If you're there, don't miss your chance!

Last night for IllumiNations is September 30, 2019.

Skyliner starts on September 29, 2019.

So two nights to watch IllumiNations from the Skyliner if you time it correctly.

And then be the first to watch the new Epcot Forever the next night from Skyliner on October 1st.
It would have been fun if the final conclusion of Illuminations concluded with an immediate showing of the new show on the same night to crazy delight of unsuspecting fans! Now that would be a show to remember and a lot of fireworks. I love fireworks

Still can't wait to use the Skyliner. Our first trip with it running will be in October. We miss the official opening by 2 days.....bummer. At Christmas/NYE, I plan on using it several times since the whole system will be operational.

The Holiday addon to Illuminations last December was spectacular. You would have loved it!
