You mentioned you will be at GF in Jan so do you want to go there again for this trip with 6 in May or try something different? Also would the two children like a character meal? If yes to both, then 1900 Park Fare is the one for the experience and you can visit the GF too!
We personally love Narcoossee's so I vote for that IF you don't want the character meal...again can enjoy the sites/sounds of the GF.

O'hana wasn't our fave last time we visited but do enjoy Kona but not as much as those at GF lately.

Also a fan of Grand Floridian Cafe.

Agreed with 1900 Park Fare, especially with the kids.

Narcoossee’s is a must-do for me every trip, but would only recommend it for you if the kids can handle dining at a nicer restaurant.

I would be tempted to eat at a restaurant in the Contemporary like the WAVE so you will be able to have dessert upstairs at BLT and watch fireworks and Electrical water Pageant in the 7 Seas lagoon, and then to bed for early Morns and late nights week preparation. No sense in exhausting yourself first day with travel, etc .
It's not our arrival day. We are doing a split stay and this will be the day we migrate from BCV to BLT.

We plan to spend the Am getting the bags transferred and going to Cape May for a character breakfast.

Than we plan to go over to Disney Springs for the few hours while we wait for the BLT room to be ready.

Than over to BLT to freshen up a bit.

Than over to one of the other resorts for a 6-7 dinner. Back to BLT to unwind before a say at MK.
