YW, often times there will be rumors spread by bus drivers, etc. I was just lucky to have a person to ask.

Well, that's disappointing, but thanks for the update. Original info came from someone in WDW food service...you'd think that would be a step up from a bus driver!

Gordon Holmes accepted your request.

Hello! No, there is not going to be a full service restaurant at our resort! The add is for an assistant chef who will order food for our two outlets and who will be responsible for keeping the kitchens up to safety standards and health codes. They will also be responsible for keeping the kitchens allergy and gluten-free compliant. So I'm afraid that there will be no new restaurants at DHHIR. If you 'chat' on line with anyone who is thinking differently, feel free to quote me! I hope that you're doing well! Have a wonderful night!

Oh, well! I was all excited about the possibility of having Chef Gordon cooking for me again. Thanks for finding out.

Gordon is the best, thats why I went to him! I think the wine and cheese pairing with Gordon has even been eliminated.

OMG-eliminating the wine and cheese pairing? I wonder why they did that! I heard he recently started a coffee tasting-I wonder if he's still doing that.

I've been hoping that Disney takes over the old Kingfisher site and turns it into a full service restaurant.

Based on Gordon's response, I guess not. Oh well.
