Not only that, no one had enough to make the reservation. Sort of puts you in the drivers seat.
Which is why our superpowers combined!

Law of supply and demand. The broker pricing doesn't mean a thing if they have no points available to secure the reservation.

Definitely depends on the resort and the discount cash equivalent rates. Blt, gfv, poly and gcv itís always a good savings even at $20/point over cash discount. The other resorts just depends. Akv value is a giveaway if youíre only charging $15. Akv standards and savanna though at $20/point Is questionable depending on time of year and cash rates. It would sure be nice if otu points reflected the premiums but they are cut and dry $20/point now and only available at 7 months. At those prices and the fact that availability is so low at 7 months I totally get the premium at $20/point and see no issue with owners charging $20. I guess Iím just not happy about dvc charging owners that rate if they need otu points to complete a reservation.

This is one big factor. Savvy renters lines up owners 2 yrs in advance. I have done many grand villa that way. Owners can manage points by banking and borrowing and fulfill a larger request.

That's seems low. But people must give them up at that price or they'd have to offer more?

New direct buyer probably will break even.

It's better than the $14 they were offering. It's slowly moving up. The other broker is offering $15/pt.
