Default ME - return only?

I've got a trip coming up next month. I was thinking about coming in early (before my reservation) and staying elsewhere in Orlando to visit a friend. So I'd rent a car upon arrival and either drop it off at the airport or onsite at Disney. Then we'd stay at Disney for a week and return using ME.

Can you do this? Or is there a roundtrip requirement?

Definitely. I do it all the time. I use a car service to get there (earlier) and ME back. No problem at all.

Yup, when setting up Magical Express online (or via phone) you just designate what segment of the trip you want to set it up for. No problem at all.

We're driving to Orlando from Key West this coming weekend, dropping off the rental car at MCO and taking ME to Disney for a few days. When we're done, we'll take ME back to the airport for the flight home to Massachusetts.
We've never had a problem doing weird things like this.

I am flying into MCO and renting a car to go to South Fl. I am returning for a stay at AKL. If I wanted to return the rental to MCO before the end of my vacation, would DME take me back to AKL and return me to MCO on the day of my flight home??

Yes you can get DME from MCO to Disney anytime during your stay. Just make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance. If the first agent you try is clueless try again. Some of them can't figure out how to get past the "flight" info
