Nice to see how generous some of the people on this forum are.

We offered a few years worth of points to my SIL for her wedding to get the entire family a grand villa, but she declined and got married on the beach with no family attending.

I have also used points as wedding gifts.

Booked a 8 nights total (4 at AKL and 4 at BCV) 2 bedroom for my nephew to celebrate his 5th birthday. Treated my sister's family, my parents, and my friends to the room and also covered parks tickets for my parents and my nephew and the flight for my parents and nephew.

Treated my mom to a trip with 2 nights at Poly, a 3 night cruise, followed by 2 nights at SSR.

Treated my friend's family of 4 to their first trip to Disney, 7 nights at SSR.

I purchased my DVC membership following the death of my husband from cancer (he was only 29 at the time). I wanted to do something with the insurance payout that honored his memory in a fun way and he had always loved going to Disney (we actually went for our honeymoon and again just prior to him getting sick). I love that DVC has allowed me to share his love of Disney with our family and friends!

There was a Disey themed local fundraiser for 2 kids with medical conditions.

We donated a 4 night stay at Copper Creek which they ended up raffling as the Grand Prize. It was really fun being a Disney Themed party.

Wow, what a great thread! I am so impressed by the generosity of the Mouseowners out there. I am a new owner, so I have not had the chance to do any giving yet. (I am also still working on expanding my spirit of generosity and giving. )

I have a January trip planned with friends. Two of them are Disney Nuts, and they have never been to Disneyland or Disney World. I cannot wait to see their reactions!

One of the friends going with me in January is a new mother and not very well off (monetarily). I feel a bit charitable by providing her with accommodations (she is paying for her own ticket), but honestly I think my motivations are a bit selfish. I want to enjoy seeing her enjoy the World!

I hope to do generous things with my points in the future that do not involve any personal gain or enjoyment for myself.

We work with Make-A-Wish foundation in Phoenix to use our points to book rooms on as needed basis. The problem is always the availability since most are on short notice.

I gifted a friend a week at AKV 1bedroom Jambo house so she can take her son for the 1st time

Gifted a 2 beedroom at HHI for a week to MIL and FIL

Given several night stays to family to extend their trips. We have alot of points so we tend to go every 3 months for a week in at least a 1 bedroom
