![]() The last few years we will do AKL or Riviera for 4-5 days followed by Vero for 5 days at 10 points per night!

![]() I voted other. We had a resort only stay booked once and a friend had some old park hopper tickets ang gave them to us so we did a park day. Our last trip we had parks booked everyday but didn’t make it two of the days.

![]() The only resort only stay we have had in the past was a 1 night stay at Polynesian prior to a cruise. With that said, our Disney trips are getting shorter due to costs and crowds so this year, we are only doing 3 nights/2 parks instead of our typical week. Even in the past, we would have a couple of no park days that we would fill with pool time, Disney Springs, or one of the water parks.

![]() In the past we've stayed at in the Polynesian Bungalow's, Old Key West and the Riviera without going into a park. Relaxing. Tour other resorts and Disney Springs.

![]() We are headed there Sunday for a resorts only trip at BCV plus 1 day at Typhoon Lagoon. We still aren't able to purchase AP's and DH just fretted the whole time we were in the parks last year that he wasn't "getting his money's worth" with the amount of time the kids wanted to spend at the parks vs. pool time. So we're going to try a resort only stay with a day at the water park. We'll see how this turns out!

![]() Funny this should come up now. We have some points we need to use or lose. We are looking at going in August. The temps and humidity will be awful. So we are thinking resort only, lots of pool time. Maybe one day at Universal. Visit family that lives in the area. We could definitely occupy our time without the parks. Plenty of other things to see while there.
Add in the annoying need for park reservations, still no APs (we were there in February and we do not want to fork over more $$$ in park passes right now). That said, once there, would we be able to stay out of a park? Not sure since we have never attempted a resort only trip.

![]() If I ever have enough points to stay at a Copper Creek Cabin for several nights I'm pretty sure that would be a no parks trip!

![]() As DVC is our only TS, for us joining has always been more about the resorts then the parks. My surmising is MO's who own multiple TS use those other venues for resort stays or it may be that each TS has it's own draw - music, winter sports, etc.
