I wonder if you attempted to buy a resale contract that would put you over one of these limits....would that force Disney to ROFR it? How else would they prevent you from buying the resale contract? I don't know that they could stop it otherwise, legally. Perhaps they could prevent you from using all the points, after the sale went through.

If your spending 1.6 million on points you might be better off buying in golden oak

I guess you can use that 1.6 as the down but it will take well over 2 to get a place.

Not my style of travel, I prefer more of a stop and smell the Rosť kind of trip.

I looked at the itinerary and would do this in a heartbeat! It looked amazing and very well thought out! The Pyramids of Giza and the Taj Mahal are wonderful additions and the personalized attention you get from ABD would be great!

DH is likely retiring next year. Could I swing this as a retirement gift?

Hmmm I guess in order to do that I'd have to get a job and they probably wouldn't give me 24 days off, so DH would have to go alone... Darn!

If anyone on MO does this, please keep us in the loop!

Off to play PowerBall!

I read the whole itinerary. If I ever have a spare 110K I would book this trip.

If you ever get the money, I'll meet you the WDW part of it! Sadly I'm struggling with even 800 miles flying let alone 3000 to get to LA or all across the globe. Years ago I would've loved the idea!
