Default Disney+ log in again?

Last year at this time I couldn’t watch my Disney+ streaming channel unless I logged in with a new password. It happened again today. Is this happening to everyone?

Happened to me too a few days ago. I looked on to the WDW website and then tried to go to MDE. Had to log on again, but every time I tried to look at something I got asked to log in again. Couldn’t do anything at all.

A few days ago I logged in to the WDW site to look at my MDE and I had to log in 3 times before i was truly logged in. Have not had any problems or issues since then.

My two granddaughters choose a day every two weeks to meet at my house to watch the High School Musical series. Bad timing to find out I couldn’t turn on the tv and watch. If the girls weren’t time restricted I would have found a way to keep my password. But, feeling rushed I changed my password. Now everything Disney has the new password.

I was also asked to change my password, but all I did was type in the existing one and it was accepted as being new. I have done that also on other sites.

The password debacle happened to me tonight. (We leave for Disney on Saturday and I hate when this happens right before a trip!). I was prompted to change my password on MDE b/c I “hadn’t logged in recently”. Seriously! I check the account several times a week to make sure reservations are what I want. I was able to put in my old password and it seemed ok.

My daughter tried to use Disney+ on her device and it prompted for a new password. It wouldn’t take my old/existing password. I ended up creating a new password and it took that.

Are they separating the platforms? At this point I have 2 different passwords again. (I opened MDE experience and it opened with presumably the MDE password I set and not the new D+ password.)

Did this happen to anyone else?

EDIT: MDE just logged me out of app again and use the new password I set for D+. So, my guess is they are still on the same platform. Not sure what caused this to happen tonight.

We had to reset ours today, prompted after trying to watch Disney+ on a tv we dont' use as much. We've had Disney+ on that TV, and DD had used it not that long ago. Not sure if that was reason, or what. Had to use new pw to get back into MDE.

Yes, this happened to us a few weeks ago. I changed the Disney+ password then it trickled down to the the other Disney sites. I went back to Disney+ and reset the pw back to my old pw so I wouldn't have to change them all.
