How about odds of 2 bedroom standard AKL waitlist on Sunday 11/24? I can book the 11/22-11/24 2-bedroom and 6 nights in a studio with March points without borrowing more than I would use on a studio if they dont come. That would give me both options up to 7 month window, plus other resorts if open. As long as the waitlist works.

I will state upfront that I am bad at dealing with UYs etc. I only understand Dec.

I thought, though, that you might hedge your bets by booking differently. Instead of six nights in a studio and three in a two bedroom, why not book six nights in a studio and three more in a studio for the first three days for your parents. It would take a lot less points.

If you can get a two bedroom at 7 mo, great! If not, everyone will at least have a bed. Or get a one bedroom for the three days. That would get you a communal private space for family times (and a kitchen).

Since they are not sure about coming, they canít complain too much if nothing else works out.

Beware of the one bedroom. They are so nice that you will never want to go back to a studio. It is called addonitis.
