I don't usually note such things but for some reason this drove me crazy this trip! With Disney purchasing power "decent" stuff shouldn't be an issue. Not even top of the line - just decent!

And they don't include ponies with each dVC rental. And, if they did, they probably wouldn't come and clean up after them

Cheers.

Cheers.

The Plan

In the beginning, there was a plan,
And then came the assumptions,
And the assumptions were without form,
And the plan without substance,

And the darkness was upon the face of the workers,
And they spoke among themselves saying,
"It is a crock of sh** and it stinks."

And the workers went unto their Supervisors and said,
"It is a pile of dung, and we cannot live with the smell."

And the Supervisors went unto their Managers saying,
"It is a container of excrement, and it is very strong,
Such that none may abide by it."

And the Managers went unto their Directors saying,
"It is a vessel of fertilizer, and none may abide by its strength."

And the Directors spoke among themselves saying to one another,
"It contains that which aids plants growth, and it is very strong."

And the Directors went to the Vice Presidents saying unto them,
"It promotes growth, and it is very powerful."

And the Vice Presidents went to the President, saying unto him,
"This new plan will actively promote the growth and vigor
Of the company With very powerful effects."

And the President looked upon the Plan
And saw that it was good,
And the Plan became Policy.

And this, my friend, is how sh** happens.

Seems familiar.

Hitting 25 years in May. It's a great company (even if leadership prioritizes, gasp, shareholder return).

Fun!

Our contracts expire in 21 years..

agreed, the bean counters are the worstest; right up there with dentists ...

we'll have to see if he uses his super powers for good, evil, or nothing in particular; maybe he'll fine mutually beneficial efficiencies, successfully squeeze nickels out of pennies at our detriment, or just keep on keeping on

some of the other DVC board of directors were definitely numerically creative (2020 + 2022 point charts), not sure if Ms. Schultz was actively or passively engaged in that; with this guy's background and the fact that it's happened twice in three years, if we see point chart shenanigans again, it will be hard to assign responsibility to anyone but Mr. Diercksen
