Default Any thoughts on what to do?

Ok, we are staying at Swan in November so I can use my many Bonvoy points Iíve not used in a long while. I have booked a grand suite with an attached two Queen bedroom as well as two other two Queen rooms. Total of three separate reservations all under my name. We have tickets and park reservations made in the MDE from two months ago. I have NOT linked my Swan reservations as of yet. Problem is my booking window for ADRs opens in less than two weeks, so Iíve got to link my hotel in order to make them. Iím am worried if Covid keeps raging on some of my family may not be able to go. My immediate family is hopefully going, unless things get worse. We are healthy and vaccinated. Iím worried if I link the reservation and we end up cancelling one or two of the three reservations that it will delete my ADRs and park reservations. Not sure which of the three reservations we will keep as it depends on who ends up not going. Can I link all three reservations under my name and then be able to cancel one or two if needed without messing up those of us that are going? Iíve talked to Swan and Disney and no one can seem to tell me what to do.

Make the ADRs. If you cancel you can do the 'modify' trick of changing the date beyond the cancellation fee mark and then cancel the modification.

If you are using MDE the Swan/Dolphin cannot help you - this is a Disney product.

Thank you for trying to help. My question is can I link the 3 Swan reservations numbers to my MDE? Because if I only can link one and end up cancelling that particular room wonít I lose my ADRs Iíve made under that room and possibly lose my park reservations? That is my question.

If you have 3 different reservation numbers you can link all 3 to your MDE. However, you need the 'Disney version' of your reservation number. If you don't know what the numbers are than the Dolphin/Swan can provide these numbers. I sent them an email saying I wanted to line my reservations and they replied in 24hrs with the 'Disney version' of the reservation.

I think if you are the lead on all reservations you will be okay. We have 2 rooms booked in November at the Dolphin and because I booked using my husband's Bonvoy account it defaulted to his information and we missed our dining reservation window because it only recognized him. I was on the reservation, but for some reason, it did not recognize me and he had to book all the dining until our second window for our BLT portion of our stay opened.

I was told by Disney that I just had to be on the reservation for me to book, but it wasn't until I added myself as the lead on the second room that I could book AND to further confuse, it still shows up as ONLY my husband on MDE...so who knows???

Sorry...that wasn't very helpful, but I share in your frustration!

Thanks so much for responding. I just spoke with Swan to confirm my reservation numbers, and I am the Marriott Bonvoy member so my name is on all reservations. I just went into my DME and it appears I can only add one reservation number instead of all three. So I stopped what I was doing and called Disney IT and am waiting on a call back. I swear our yearly beach trips are a piece of cake I can do with my eyes closed versus trying to plan a Disney trip! 🤪😬 ☹️

Maybe Iím missing something but why would ADRs be cancelled? I donít think those are dependent on a room reservation or a park reservation; as to the latter, perhaps there is a newer policy I donít know about but when they started park reservations, I remember them making clear that making an ADR inside a park wonít get you unless you have a park reservation.

Also, as to park reservations, I donít think they go away instantly if something is removed on which they depend. Recently when I cancelled my trip for the 50th due to COVID () and changed the dates on my ticket to the New Yearís period (those fireworks are on my bucket list!), it took several days (4 or 5 I think) for the system to email me and say all my park reservations would be cancelled unless I supported them with a ticket or pass by the end of the day. I was happy to let the system cancel them for me so I didnít do anything.
