Default Cruise Terminal Rental Car

Has anyone rented a car from Port Canaveral and returned it to MCO? I was searching for car rentals through my work's travel site and the prices are great considering how expensive rental cars are right now.
It says there is a shuttle that will pick you up at the cruise terminal and take you to the rental office? Is this accurate? Just trying to get a sense of how chaotic this might be or if it's pretty easy. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the answers are "yes", but it's been too long for me to be sure. I've never had a rental car problem or issue at Port Canaveral. More than once I've parked a rental car from MCO there, and that's great because it's just waiting for you a short walk away after you disembark.

Ive done it a couple of times, rented at Port Canaveral and dropping off at MCO. Well be doing it again next summer-trying out the Wish and heading out to WDW.

Anyway-Id reserve my car and then Id call the agency at PC to get the logistics around pick up. Last I was there, they did do it.

I do it with National for every cruise. I'm generally one of the first folks off the boat and quickly on the National shuttle with my family. Then we go over, get our car and head out. Super easy. No drop charge. so generally it's about $65 one way with taxes. But you have to rent a specific size, not like emerald aisle at the airport where you choose.
