Only DVC resorts have community Halls and since Jambo is more of a hotel with DVC rooms they do not have a community hall (the same is true of BCV and VWL) There is a community Hall at Kidani.

They give you a container to put your cookie in to take it.
We usually take them down to Mara and eat them after lunch.

Does anyone know if it's ok to take an 18 month old or do they frown on very little ones at the cookie decorating?

Happy trails,
Jennie

Disney NEVER frowns at babies. They will love the 18 month old and encourage and ove the messy cookie he or she makes. Go for it!

If you're there in late October, we can do the cookie decorating together. My grandaughter is about 19 months old, so I'm "sperienced".

Aw Simbasmom, that sounds like fun, but the 18 mo old isn't mine. I will be there in Oct for DH bday, but we are going in early Dec too and we invited Finn and his mom to join us. I'm trying to find fun things to do besides just the parks. I think cookie decorating at AKL pics would look great in a scrapbook.

Thank you so much for the info. I'm excited to do this with them. One other question. Do you have to reserve things like this in advance or just show up?

Thanks,
Jennie
