You don't delete them when it comes time to set them up. Its pretty easy to connect them.

Go into your friends and family account and click on one of them. There will be a link to invite to connect. They do have to have an MDE account already set up. Then they can click on the "accept invitation" link in the email.

It won't mess anything up. You just go to their profile on your account and click "invite to connect" and enter their email address. They'll set up their own account and that profile will switch from you to them. You will still manage the plans for everyone. And it won't change anything they are already included in.
Technically you could go in right now and change a FP to someone else on your F&F list if you wanted, so it really shouldn't be a problem. The only thing is I believe they would then be able to change the plans for themselves by accident.
