Default Getting more FP+s after the first 3-Help, please!

Exactly how does this work? After I use the first 3, can I use the fourth (and subsequent) at another park? And do I have to use the fourth before I can even reserve another? I'll be spending the day in the MK, have 3 FP+s reserved before a late lunch, then I'll be going over to Epcot. So I'm planning to check MDE to see what (if anything) I can get at Epcot for later in the day, after I use all 3 of the FP+s at MK. Is it as simple as going on-line and reserving a FP+ at Epcot? And can I just reserve the one, or can I reserve 3 more at Epcot?

Yes, you can use any FP+ after the 3rd at any park. Simply check the app & get whatever is available to use. You must use the 4th (or let it expire) before you can get a 5th, etc.

That is exactly what you do. You can only make one and then must use it before making another.

The answer to all but one of your questions is yes. You make your normal 3 at the MK. Once you scan your MB at the FP entry point to the 3rd FP ride, you can start to look for another FP at any park. You can only schedule one additional at a time, but can do as many as you can find as you use them. Again remember, the FP clears once you scan it at the entry point and your window resets. So you could potentially schedule a FP somewhere else while you’re still waiting in line.

If it’s just you, you should have a pretty good chance to get anything you want at Epcot. The trick is to constantly refresh - literally if there’s nothing available, just change the time at the top and it will refresh again. Just keep doing this and you should be able to find something good. We have had pretty much no trouble getting very last minute prime FPs, sometimes while waiting in line for one we had already found. I think our record was 2 years ago when we used 12 FPs in a day, without scheduling any in advance, in DHS. It can be done.

To add to what PSULION has already said. When I was at MK in june, I was able to make 11 fp selections before 3pm using the methods described. I noticed between 55-59 minute of every hour, New fp rides and times would come available. I took full advantage of this short time window to book some choice fps. This was for magic kingdom only, so can't comment on EPCOT, but chances are good to grab a late Soarin or text track fp. I've done this a couple of times when there in June.

To take this a step further, you can actually modify your 2nd and 3rd FPs as soon as you scan the 1st. So let's say you have a 9am FP, get in line and check your 2nd one, see if you can move it earlier. Rise repeat for your 3rd after scanning the 2nd one. Often we can add a 4th one before 11am (assuming 9am opening) and 5th before noon, if we're lucky a 6th before lunch.

This works better with smaller groups but I did okay with our group of 4 in June. This is in part of how we managed all Mountains at MK one morning including also the other two coasters all before eating at 11:30 or so.

Also an excellent tip.
