We are OKW resale owners (addonitis is real!) and you should try to attend the am tour of the conch republic and storyline behind OKW.
The sauna in the lighthouse at the feature pool then dip in the hot tub is a great way to relax your tired legs after touring.
As a farm girl with roots in North Dakota you are going to love Florida in January.
Festival of the Arts is going on so save room for the fun eats at the open kitchens too.

if you're there on a sunday morning -- get a reservation for the brunch.

Also -- if you ever eat at Olivia's -- get the buttermilk chicken. Holy crap.

I live in the south. I know chicken fried chicken. It was really good. Not the best I've ever had -- but it was way up there.

The first time I ever had chicken fried chicken was the buttermilk chicken at Olivia's. Now I'm spoiled! I haven't had anything even close to it here in New England.

We did that finally after many years of hearing the message on our phone inviting us to come do that. It was awesome!
