Default Rain Forest Room Price Increase

I called DCL to purchase a one-day pass for the Rain Forest Room and to my surprise, the price has doubled! I probably shouldn't be surprised seeing how the price of everything is going up but somehow I missed this announcement. The cast member told me it went up for sailings starting in January. The price is now $34 and some change with the tax. When he first told me the price, I thought he made a mistake and put in 2 passes but no, the price has actually just doubled, from $16 to $32 plus tax. The rain forest room pass was a bargain and I guess Disney realized it. Thought I would share in case others were not aware.

I was aware of the price change, but never knew you could call and reserve your time...... we have always gotten it for the length of our cruise. I wonder if there is a discount for that yet?

Iíll wait until weíre on the ship then.

Although itís more expensive, itís still a treat for us when we travel without young ones. I just figure our vacation cost another $200. Funny thing is, we would book a cabana for $500 without batting an eye.

I'm very curious to see the total cost for my Transatlantic in May.

We're considering a TA for spring 2021 for Jim's 70th, or a Panama Canal Eastbound (since they've been falling smack in the middle of Lent lately). I'll definitely be looking for your TA report!
